Hello there! My name is Mohan Achanti. I am currently a Research Scholar at the Osmania University, Hyderabad. Am pursuing my research work under the guidance of Dr. B. Shiva Reddy in the area of monetary economics.

I am also looking for a doctoral/post-doctoral research assistantship in the United States where I believe I can best hone my skills in the international monetary economics. Eventually, that is where I want to specialize in, you know! Take a look at my current resume from the link on the top.

My interests are definitely in Economics, reading and some sports, say Cricket! (I bet you have heard about it, didn't you?). Hey, my new found interest, perhaps you may wanna call it the "money making interest", is computers. You know the "Gold Rush" or "Mad Rush" for computer awareness or knowledge prevalent among Indian youth now,...well, I am part of it. Wanted to get into the band wagon and try my luck too. So, where am I? Yep, yep,.. I am just learning some basics at this point, like writing this page. Also have a gained a bit of knowledge in C programming, and Oracle. It is kinda interesting to know how computers are taking over this human race :-) See what I mean? Sad truth. You better believe it.

If you have any suggestions or questions please write to me at: [email protected].
